Ascent Integrated Tech

Enhancing Public Safety with TAK-Integrated Physiological Alerting and 3 Axis Position Location Information (PLI)

Abstract

Ascent Integrated Tech’s TAK-Integrated Biometric Alerting and Position Location Information (PLI) system provides public safety teams with precise, real-time situational awareness and health monitoring. Designed to enhance coordination in large-scale events and emergencies, our solution combines wrist-worn wearables with seamless ATAK/CivTAK integration, delivering critical biometric data and location tracking that supports faster, more informed decisions. A key innovation in Ascent’s system is the refined altitude plugin, which displays only relevant personnel on a user’s current screen, minimizing information overload and enabling rapid response to on-screen needs.

Through heart rate monitoring and location tracking, Ascent’s solution provides real-time alerts for physiological abnormalities, helping first responders act swiftly and accurately in high-stress situations. With no additional hardware required, this easily deployable solution is scalable for events of any size, filling critical gaps in incident management and supporting public safety and resilience. Developed with input from public safety agencies, Ascent’s system ensures a user-friendly, accessible experience with flexible deployment options to serve fire departments, law enforcement, and public event organizers.

Ascent’s TAK-enhanced platform ultimately strengthens operational efficiency and team safety, offering a robust solution that addresses the limitations of existing tracking and alerting systems across diverse public safety scenarios.
