Building resilient smart cities requires cost-effective, infrastructure-independent communication. goTenna’s low SWaP-C long-range communications solution ensures network resiliency and failover capabilities, supporting critical data pathways even in disrupted environments. By operating without traditional infrastructure, cities can rapidly deploy ad hoc smart networks, validating smart city concepts at low cost while ensuring continuous connectivity. This scalable system enables gradual, phased upgrades, expanding across localities, infrastructure, and technology layers—such as deploying transit connectivity before integrating personal mobility solutions. Its seamless extensibility supports independent failover networks and energy-resilient operations, ensuring urban leaders can maintain essential communication during crises.
