Our solution is a software adapter named Z-Link, which translates messaging standards between TAK and low-bandwidth IoT smart device protocols. Using the System of Systems Technology Integration Tool Chain for Heterogeneous Electronic Systems (STITCHES), Z-Link unlocks a variety of innovative solutions by enabling TAK to tap into thousands of IoT devices and hundreds of data endpoints, including motion, moisture, humidity, temperature, and emergency alerts. This integration makes TAK more attractive by enabling support for low-cost IoT devices, fostering operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and improved responsiveness to real-world challenges. Ultimately, Z-Link creates a powerful synergy between TAK and the expanding IoT ecosystem.
